Legacy Waste Management

The majority of metropolitan Indian cities are laboriously struggling to manage dumpsite waste. Sadly, it has already exceeded its capacity or is not capable of taking more waste. According to shocking reports, “more than 1,250 hectares of treasured land is being lost every year in India”, revealed by Swach Bharat Reports 2020.On average, India alone recycles only 20 to 25 percent of waste while the rest of the waste remains untreated. The untreated legacy waste further gets mingled with our lands and ends up making things worse for the environment.To ensure environmental protection and sustainability in the ultra-modern future, the government of India is acknowledging this upcoming global waste crisis and making effective biomining process policies to cope with legacy waste management.
