A visit to this museum will surely be a "walk to remember". Parliament Museum in Delhi has been designed to present journey of Indian history in such a way that one feels connected to the past events, all thanks to the interactive devices used here.
Visual depiction coupled with sound effects makes the visitors understand the important events in a shorter time and leaves a lasting impact. It was inaugurated by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 2006, then President of India.

In the Democratic heritage section, Ashokan and Akbar's ideologies are presented in an interesting way via sculptures, paintings, etc. These were the base of formulation of our constitution. Constitution section has all the pages of India's Constitution on display. Constitution of India is the longest written constitution in all of the sovereign countries and has 448 articles. The contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was highly significant in formulation of the constitution.
Parliament of India undoubtedly possess supreme power over all political parties of India and comprises of the President, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Main attraction of this gallery is a real like model of India's first Prime minister Nehru, delivering soul stirring 'Tryst with Destiny' speech at midnight of Independence.
Freedom movement gallery houses the natural costumes of people from all parts of the country, pleasing patriotic songs in a variety of languages like Bengali, Bhojpuri, Telugu, Sanskrit, etc.
Important events like partition of Bengal, Quit India Movement, Dandi March, etc are shown via interactive multimedia techniques where visitors can find themselves, taking part in the movements, on the screen. Transfer of Power displays legislative reforms, evolution of political parties, the multicultural background India has always had.
The museum has a Resource Center which contains all relevant information, equipped with latest technology computers and can be easily accessed by the scholars, students and researchers. The entire museum tells a story. One can see the voting process of general elections, sit in recreated chambers of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, listen to enchanting voices of Gandhiji, Subhash Chandra Bose, etc.

Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya | Museum on Indian Prime
Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a museum built as a tribute to every Prime Minister of India since Independence, and a narrative record of how each one has contributed to the development of the nation. The museum is located at the Teen Murti Avenue earlier known as Nehru Memorial Museum.
Each building of the museum houses galleries dedicated to each Prime Minister of India showcasing their major and significant contributions towards building of a nation. The museum also houses galleries of Constitution and its making, memorable debates.
Starting from India’s freedom struggle, and the making of the Constitution, the “Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya” goes on to tell the story of how Prime Ministers navigated the nation through various challenges and ensured the all-round progress of the country.
The guiding principle has been to recognize the contribution of all the Prime Ministers in a non-partisan manner. The logo of the building represents the hands of the people of India holding the “Ashoka Chakra”, symbolizing the nation and democracy.
Holograms, virtual reality, augmented reality, multi-touch, multi-media, interactive kiosks, computerized kinetic sculptures, smartphone applications, interactive screens, experiential installations have been leveraged to make the exhibition content highly interactive.

Entry Fees : Adult: INR 20. Tickets are available online and can be booked through Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya website. Museum ticket are available offline too and can be purchased directly from the ticket counters, however visitors need to pay 10 Rs extra for offline tickets.
