History of Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi
Constructed in 1354, Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium was once a fort which was actually built by Sultan Feroze Shah Tughluq. The area was then converted into a cricket ground during the year1883. The Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium was planned by designers and environmentalists Naval Khanna and Danish Siddiqui.The international cricket ground is owned and maintained by the DDCA or Delhi District Cricket Association. After the inauguration of Indian Premier League in 2008, the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium has been the home ground of the Delhi DareDevils (cricket franchise representing the city of Delhi) of the IPL.
