Sarojini Nagar Market was earlier known as Vinay Nagar and Beena Nagar Market. Subsequently, it was named after Indian freedom fighter Smt. Sarojini Naidu. The Swami Vivekananda park near this market was called Fountain Garden or Fuarey wala park a few years back.
