Sarojini Nagar Market was earlier known as Vinay Nagar and Beena Nagar Market. Subsequently, it was named after Indian freedom fighter Smt. Sarojini Naidu. The Swami Vivekananda park near this market was called Fountain Garden or Fuarey wala park a few years back.

How to Reach Sarojini Nagar Market

The nearest Metro Station  is INA Metro Station. You can also take a taxi or auto rickshaw and reach here. The nearest Railway Station is New Delhi Railway Station while Sarai Kale Khan ISBT is the Bus Terminus in the vicinity.

Sabzi Market

Central Market

Sarojini Nagar Market: A People's Market

Sarojini Nagar Market is no doubt a people's market, a bargain bazaar for sure. University students love to come here in groups for window shopping and to buy monthly essential items. 

You will love to get lost in the back street ''gullies'' inside the market because there also every little space is occupied by vendors selling mala (necklace), for ladies while knickers, track suits, goggles and socks for men.
