The new Industrial Policy for Delhi (2010-2021)


The vision of the new Industrial Policy of Delhi is to make Delhi a hub of clean, high technology and skilled economic activities by 2021. The policy aims to promote non-polluting and clean industries. It also aims to promote skilled industries and discourage migration of unskilled labourers. It also aims to develop world-class infrastructure and facilitate business through procedural simplification and business friendly environment.

DSIIDC

Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (DSIIDC) has played a important part in promoting the industrial development of the city which has more than 10 million people residing. It was  established in February 1971 and since then has developed various projects, funded and assisted some others.
Some of the DSIIDC projects are:

  • Knowledge Based Industrial Park (KBI) at Baprola
  • Development of IT-cum-Flatted Factory Complex, Okhla
