Due to limited space in #urban areas, #urban #gardening encourages individuals to #grow on #roof-tops, #balconies & #terraces through use of innovative techniques such as vertical & #kitchen gardening under mediums such as #coco-peat, #vermiculite, #hydroponics etc.

IFFCO Kisan has been actively working for the #rural #farmers through its “value added advisory services”, empowering them to be more proactive & aware about latest practices & technologies in #Agriculture. With the practice of #growing #horticulture #crops in #gardens & #terraces in urban areas, IFFCO Kisan intends to serve the urban population through its rich expertise in agricultural advisory repository & experience to benefit the practitioners.

Our Objective is to leverage IFFCO Kisan’s in-house expertise to promote urban horticulture and to empower urban enthusiasts with high-quality information on urban horticulture. We are also trying to promote green & pollution free cities and proper utilisation of vacant & unused peri-urban areas to grow quality & nutritious food.
